I’ve been so preoccupied with the updates and all the things I have to do as a landlady that the amount of time I spend actually ENJOYING Second Life is really limited. But recently I took some time out for myself, and I bought a little yacht. It’s beautiful, and so much fun to sail. I’m learning a lot about sailing and I’m actually enjoying myself. It put me into a massive creation and exploration mode, something I’ve needed, in order to recharge my batteries and feel more positive about SL, and my business itself.
You can look at my Flickr photostream, or my snapshots and uploads on Snapzilla. Mind you, I forgot my flickr password a long time ago, but recently remembered it! So some stuff there is really old and there is a huge gap.
I have since bought a strip of land that gives me unblockable access to protected water, and the 50+ open water sims around Nautilus City and the Blake Sea. I’ve built a boathouse and a public launching area in Eiger, just south of Nautilus City. That was a fun project.

I sincerely suggest that if you are burned out in Second Life, that you find something that excites you and go there and do it. No reason why both lives should be a bummer.

Hi Cristalle,
great to hear that you have buildt a boathouse with a public launch area in Eiger, and cool that you enjoy sailboat cruising so much.
The Mowry Bay Cruising Club has made some cruises in your area already, and seeing new spots is always welcomed. The group cruises are each Tuesday at 5 PM SLT, pics of the cruises of the last weeks you can see here: http://picasaweb.google.com/tory.micheline/MowryBayCruisingClub#
Happy Sailing,
Manul Rotaru
Thanks Manul! I was going to look into the yacht clubs, since I don’t know anything about them. I have seen lots of great things so far about Mowry, I’m looking forward to learning more!
