Custom Work: Angelkiss Carter

I have been a busy bee in the last few weeks… just hadn’t been posting because of rl time constraints. Now for one of my biggest builds… a custom job for Angelkiss Carter. This was a challenge because of the need to be really prim efficient. It worked out pretty well.

Built to hug her property lines, this massive complex sports a number of interior rooms including a bathroom with a glass block wall. It’s large and open, with dark red interior and dark wood. Cozy and somewhat mysterious, it is a great place to call home.

Custom Work: DonJulio Blanco

I went back and did a little extra work for Don, making two more variations of the condos, placing the terrace on the sides instead of in back. No pictures, to save a little bandwidth.

Custom Work: Lolla DuCasse

Referred by a friend, Lolla wanted a replica of a beach house that she had a picture of. I did my best and came pretty close! You decide. The model:

My version:

I’m also working on a pool for Lolla, but I need to get some more textures. I’ll post the pool later.

Custom Work: DonJulio Blanco

I put together a series of luxury condos for DonJulio Blanco. These three condos are linked by a pier which leads to a boat launch in Minnow. It’s a lovely seaside development. A dramatic great window for the bedroom upstairs, crown molding, listello tiles, two terraces and a touch of greenery. Locking doors and tints are standard.

Here are the pictures, inside and out.

Custom Work: Workway

I was approached by the kind folks at a rl human resources staffing company, Workway, to develop their SL home base. This job would be for more than just the building: it included furniture, and clickable items that take people out of world to their site. Here are the final results, on site:

Custom Work: Vara Sheridan

Vara was referred to me by my good friend Julien Wind, whose home I also designed. She was a big fan of his home and wanted something similar – large windows, marble floors. And here is what she got. 2 floors, a large terrace in the back, and a gorgeous view off the southern coast of Golden Island.

Custom Work: Jay Deere

Jay contacted me a while back about the possibility of building a house for him and his partner. My life went to hell for a while, and now that I am back in the game fully, I have finally gotten around to getting to Jay’s project. And what a project it is! It’s a great space for entertaining and making memories.

This is a 2-story brick home with front bay windows, filigree ceiling tiles, elegant oak interiors and earthy colors. The bottom floor is comprised of 3 actual rooms plus a hallway; one large living room in the front section and two separate rooms in the back section, divided by the hallway. Sliding etched glass doors lead to the back section.

Upstairs is the bedroom suite, also with front bay windows and french doors leading to its own private balcony, enclosed with art deco railings. It has a dramatic focus wall in red, contrasting with a more neutral color.

Custom Work: Keela Valeeva 2

Keela contacted me again to build an extra floor for a prefab that she had previously purchased. It’s a modern brick design with a patio and lots of windows. It was a challenge getting the exact textures, but I got them and they look great! Original design by Bill Stirling.

Custom Work: Fricker Fraker

I actually completed this job over a month ago, but did not post the picture until the house was set and placed on the land. It’s huge – 40×30, with kitchen appliances and an intimate shower made of etched glass and chrome. It’s an awesome entertainment space, as the downstairs floor just begs for a large screen tv and a circle of chairs for friends.

The house is also made for romance. The upstairs suite has large, elegant rounded windows, overhanging the front entrance, and will magnify a majestic sunrise or sunset view. If you want ambiance, this is it!

The roof is enclosed with decorative railing, providing even more entertainment space. Also on the roof is a wooden dance floor, in classic ballroom herringbone pattern.

It’s a lovely job, comparable to what I did for Julien and Desire but very different in many aspects.

Custom Work: Kriss Klaar

This is a redesign of an existing structure by another designer. I was asked to add a second floor with private rooms, change the color scheme from purple to a goth style red and black, and build a stage. I added two private rooms on the upper floor in a goth theme and an asian theme, and created a stylish outdoor patio. I built the new structure from scratch, using sleek high-shine floor tiles, and tinted the existing window textures red. The stage is a T-shape in a high shine red texture, and replaced two small purple boxes, and has steps for easy access by dancers. The end product: Club Ecstasy, in Ribush.
